The Steep Descent To Dunford

Since I created this slideshow as part of my new job, I am constructing a ‘user friendly’ blog for Dunford House and I rather liked this series so I’ve put it on here as well.

Dunford House was built by Richard Cobden, the Liberal Victorian Statesmen largely held responsible for the repeal of the ‘corn laws’ on the sight of Dunford Farm where he had been born.

He also promoted free-trade across markets, trades and borders.

A remarkable man in every sense of the word. Should you so wish you can follow the new blog here to learn more about him and his life.
