This is Poppy, who was originally Paris, a pretty young girl who has recently arrived in this country. The vet has given her a clean bill of health and she has had her passport stamped!

She will be staying with Brenda in Portsmouth. Saved from a very uncertain future in her own country is now in the process of learning the ropes at her new home, though Alice is going to be a hard act to follow!

She has begun to explore her garden and the eclectic jumble that constitutes the toy-box, inherited in the main from Sammy.

She has also been to check on the squirrels in both Park Wood and Jubilee Park and hopes to be giving them a good run for their money in the very near future!

Updates on her progress, especially whether she will ever learn sufficient road sense to avoid being run over by a bus, will be posted here on an occasional basis.

Also, looking at the appalling standard of these photographs, I’m going to need to invest in a new camera before continuing if I am going to be able to show her in her best light!
